A gallery of List Art Prints is on display on the East Promenade of Avery Fisher Hall (facing Broadway). Patrons are encouraged to visit during showtimes, or by appointment. Created over 40 years ago through a generous endowment by
Albert & Vera List, the Lincoln Center/List Collection of collectible prints and posters is a survey of four decades of important movements in contemporary art. Notable artists such as Jennifer Bartlett, Ross Bleckner, Helen Frankenthaler, Wolf Kahn, Alex Katz, Jacob Lawrence, Sol Lewitt, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Longo, Robert Mangold, Elizabeth Murray,
Jules Olitski, Robert Rauschenberg, Gerhard Richter, Joel Shapiro,
Pat Steir, Andy Warhol, Terry Winters, and many others have contributed to this program.
