Accessibility Information: David H. Koch Theater

David H. Koch Theater is located on the south side of the Lincoln Center Plaza, at Columbus Avenue and 63rd Street.

An elevator is available from Josie Robertson Plaza Level entrance to all tiers of the theater. There is also an accessible elevator on the Concourse near the accessible parking area which may be used by ticket holders only calling in advance on the day of the performance.

Hours Monday 10–7:15; Tuesday–Saturday 10–8:15; Sunday 11:30–7:15. Seats with movable aisle arm rests are available. Tickets can also be ordered through CenterCharge at 212.875.6500 or TTY 212.957.1709 and specify wheelchair seating.

Ordering Tickets by Mail: A postcard is sent along with the wheelchair tickets when they are mailed. On one side, there are directions and a map describing where to park, how to enter the theater, who to call for additional assistance, and on the other side, there is space to write the name, address, and phone number of the patron with the disability and what performance the person plans to attend. All of this Information needs to be mailed back to the management.

Orchestra — One wheelchair location and one companion location is located at Row O, in locations 25/27 and seats 26/28.

Orchestra Level Viewing Room — Three wheelchair seating locations and three companion seats are located in Row V of the viewing room. These locations have an obstructed view of the Supertitles when in use.

First Ring — Five wheelchair seating locations and five companion seats are located in row E on the right and left sides at seats 1/3, 5/7, 9/11, 13/15, 17/19 and 2/4, 6/8, 10/12, 14/16, 18/20. Seats 17/19 and 18/20 have an obstructed view of the Supertitles when in use.

Second Ring — no wheelchair seating is available

Third Ring — no wheelchair seating is available

Fourth Ring — Three wheelchair seating locations and three companion seats are located in row BB on the right and left sides at seats 1/3, 5/7, 9/11 and 2/4, 6/8, 10/12.

Fifth Ring — no wheelchair seating is available


Wheelchair Loans
Available for people who require a wheelchair to go to and from their seat only. See the Performance Manager in the Lobby.


  Assistive Listening Devices
Available for Hard of Hearing patrons. For headsets and loops, see the attendant at the coat check. A major credit card or driver’s license is needed as a security deposit. During the opera season, supertitles in English are visible on a screen across the top of the stage for all performances.

Please note the following seats have partially obstructed views, and obstructed views of Supertitles:
Orchestra: T 101-104, T 137-141, U 101-138, V 2-12.
First Ring: E 17/19 E 18/20
