Accessible through automated doors from the Josie Robertson Plaza and from the handicapped parking area in the Lincoln Center Park-and-Lock Garage. Elevators on the Concourse Level, located to the left of the Cork Gallery from the West 65th Street entrance to the garage, provide access to the Avery Fisher Hall Box Office, Josie Robertson Plaza, and all levels of the concert hall. Security guards are posted in the area and available to assist all patrons.

  Wheelchair Seating
There are 18 wheelchair locations throughout the theater. They are located in the last row of the Orchestra and the center section of the First, Second, and Third Tiers. Persons who use wheelchairs and are able to transfer may request an aisle seat in orchestra when purchasing tickets. Online wheelchair seating is now available for Lincoln Center events in Avery Fisher Hall (except for New York Philharmonic performances).

Wheelchair Loans
Available for people who require a wheelchair to go to and from their seats. To arrange a loan, call the Central Security at 212.875.5520. A major credit card or driver's license is needed as a security deposit.


   Braille and Large Type Programs
Available for all New York Philharmonic, Great Performers, American Songbook, Mostly Mozart, and Lincoln Center Festival concerts. The programs may be obtained at the PSPD Resource Information Tables located on the Plaza and Orchestra Levels or from ushers.

  Assistive Listening Devices
Available for Hard of Hearing patrons. For headsets and loops, a major credit card or driver’s license is needed as a security deposit. See the House Manager on the Orchestra Level.

Accessible on Plaza and Orchestra Levels.

  Telephones
Accessible on Plaza Level, banks of booths on East and West sides. One “wall booth” can be used by wheelchair users on each side (volume control is available). A public TTY phone is also available on the Plaza Level.

Recessed on all levels of hall. Cups available.

Arpeggio Food & Wine
East Plaza Level. Serving small plate offerings including marinated shrimp, slow roasted pork brioche, and porcini mushroom salad, wine, and cocktails. No reservations required. Espresso Bar
Plaza Level. Serving pastries and sandwiches. Open from 5pm to intermission nightly and from noon on matinee days.

The Center Room

Promenade Intermission Bars
Promenade. Open a half-hour before curtain and during intermission. Serving cocktails, coffee, soft drinks, hors d'oeuvres, light pastries, and sandwiches. Accessible.

Intermission Express Refreshment Service
Pre-ordering your drink or snack before a performance is a fast and easy way to avoid waiting in line during intermission.
Click here to print out the Express Intermission Service form. Prior to the performance, give the completed form and your payment to a bartender at any intermission bar in Avery Fisher Hall. At intermission, return to the bartender with whom you placed your order and pick-up your drink/snack without waiting in line. You can also find forms at the Avery Fisher Hall Lobby and at the intermission bars.
Express Intermission Service is available for all performances that have intermissions.
