La Sonora Dinamita

These Colombian cumbia legends are credited with helping to popularize the genre throughout Latin America since their founding in 1960. Re-formed by Fruko in 1975 with musicians drawn from Fruko y Sus Tesos, Dinamita's flirtatious female singers hold their own against the explosive power of the brassy big band.
