Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli plays Chopin’s Andante spianato, Grande polonaise brillante, Ballade No. 1, Berceuse, Op. 57, and three Mazurkas in this Rai 1962 production. A 1944 Ina production of Alfred Cortot playing Waltz No. 9, Op. 69, No. 1 (“L’adieu”) rounds out the program.
