Barry Lewis gives a special talk, tracing the evolution of Lincoln Center’s Upper West Side surroundings, from the 18th century (when the neighborhood was sylvan Bloomingdale) to the building of Lincoln Center and the high-rise towers of the last decade. Barry Lewis, an architectural historian and teacher at Cooper Union and the New School of Interior Design, hosts a popular series of walking tours on PBS.
