What do a classical Shakespearian play, a television soap opera, and the latest teen movie musical have in common with a classic opera? Answer: a love story. Many operas tell stories about this powerful emotion. There's no need for opera to be stuffy- our dynamic artists will introduce you to the stories behind the songs so you can easily relate to them regardless of the language being sung! What are the differences between a singer in a musical and a singer in an opera? How does a singer convey an emotion like love in two very different styles of music? Let our exceptionally talented operatic performers show you how a love story comes to life in opera. Maestro Doug Martin and the cast will have audiences of all ages falling "in love with opera!"
Cast: Markus Beam (Baritone), Julianne Borg (Soprano), Michael Chioldi (Baritone), Rachele Gilmore (Soprano), Doug Martin (Conductor)
