Meet The Artist SaturdaysFree for the Whole FamilyA new free series at the David Rubenstein Atrium, Meet the Artist Saturdays follow in the tradition of Lincoln Center's celebrated Meet the Artist School Series, which marks its 30th anniversary during the 2009-2010 school year. On the first Saturday of each month at 11:00 am, Meet the Artist will bring its informal, interactive, one-hour presentations to the public. Continuing to present a wide range of performances by artists from a broad spectrum of disciplines, these Saturday morning shows are specially created for family appeal and are enjoyable for all ages. Whether the presentation is based on opera, dance, jazz, classical music, or even drama, each program showcases a unique blend of performance, participation, and education to provide audiences the opportunity to experience the arts firsthand with world-class performers. Each presentation is personal and unique, some featuring interactive components, and every presentation includes a Q&A with the artists.
