As construction progress moves forward on Lincoln Center’s redevelopment project, ADA access to Josie Robertson Plaza and the Hearst Plaza is now offered via the routes outlined below.

Please note that access to the Hearst Plaza by way of the public elevator on the south side of W. 65th St. is available.

ADA access to the Hearst Plaza is available:

From Columbus Avenue:
From the Columbus Avenue sidewalk, enter the glass-covered ramps flanking the grand stair and proceed across Josie Robertson Plaza toward the Metropolitan Opera House. The Hearst Plaza is to the right of the Met.

From West 62nd Street:
On the north side of W. 62nd St. between Columbus and Amsterdam (opposite the entrance to Fordham Law School), there is a sidewalk level ramp that leads directly to Damrosch Park and Josie Robertson Plaza.
There are curb cuts at the corners of W. 65th St. and Broadway by Avery Fisher Hall, and at W. 62nd St. and Columbus by the David H. Koch Theater.

From Amsterdam Avenue:
Enter the concourse corridor from the sidewalk at 64th St. and Amsterdam. Proceed straight ahead past the entrances to the Metropolitan Opera and Lincoln Center Theater to the far end of the passageway. Go through the glass double doors leading to Avery Fisher Hall (AFH) and take the elevator up to the AFH lobby. Exit onto Josie Robertson Plaza.
