50 years ago, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts was a bold experiment, sparked by the far-sighted vision of its founding committee. Now the world’s leading performing arts center, Lincoln Center welcomes millions of visitors to its campus each year. For its 50th Anniversary, Lincoln Center will present a year-long celebration from May 2009-May 2010 featuring special performances, commissions, events, and commemorative publications.
